Festival Congress 2022 update
Having carefully considered the public health context and latest data, and following discussion with the AIF board, we are continuing to actively plan AIF’s 2022 Festival Congress as an in-person event in Bristol on February 15th.
Considering the relatively small scale of the event, at a maximum capacity of 350 attendees, we are confident that we can put appropriate mitigations in place as part of a robust Covid management plan, including Covid certification and 100% checks if considered necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable event.
On balance, we think it is the right decision to give the UK festival community an opportunity to connect in person and discuss key issues as we hopefully head towards a full 2022 festival season in the UK.
We will, of course, continue to monitor the situation closely and follow all Government advice and guidance. Rest assured that if we need to move the date of the event closer to the time your ticket will roll-over to the new date, or you will be able to obtain a refund.
Also note that, due to the accommodation and transport deals we have secured for delegates, it is possible to wait until a bit closer to the time before committing to that spend.
We’ll be making further announcements about Festival Congress content in the coming weeks but, in the meantime, please head over to our microsite for tickets and more info.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We very much look forward to welcoming you to Bristol in February.
