Jon is perhaps best known as co-founder and director of Shambala Festival and Kambe Events. Kambe has a portfolio of events and provides management and consultancy support to others.

Jon’s extensive and diverse experience underpins his equally varied skill sets. In his 20 plus years in the music industry he has always strived to create and stimulate sustainable, positive outcomes. However, his background ranges from overseas work in charity and non-governmental sectors, to start ups in fields as diverse as retail, construction and most recently digital tech.

Boma Digital, the App providers for this year’s Congress, was born out of a search for an event app with an ethical approach towards data and users for Shambala.
