Jim is CEO of Generator the North East based Music and Digital Development Agency and head of Digital Union. This agency builds and strengthens regional creative and digital business through the delivery of responsive business support programmes which have assisted the growth of over 1,000 businesses in the North East since 2010. Having started life as a live music promoter in the distant 1980’s Jim has run live music events ranging from 50 capacity bar gigs to 30 000 capacity festivals and still offers consultancy services in this field. Jim sits on various Boards and representative bodies including the UK Tech Cluster Group Northumbria University Business School Board and The NELEP Digital Digital Advisory Group.
