Festival Congress
Festival Congress is the annual flagship event organised by the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF). It is the largest gathering of independent festivals in the UK, with over 350 industry delegates expected to attend in 2024.
Attended by 74% of AIF members on average, with an average total of 352 attendees each year (from 2014-2019), the Congress has rapidly evolved to become a fixture and must attend event in the festival industry calendar.
Festival Congress returns to Bristol in 2024 on Thursday 1st February. The event will be held at Bristol Beacon.
Festival Congress is a unique B2B networking event and has a progressive and innovative format, including high profile keynotes, engaging panel sessions, TED x style quick fire talks, breakout workshops and fireside chats with experts and inspiring personalities from across the festival and events world.
We’re pleased to announce our Festival Congress After-Party, organised with Global Local.
We’ll be taking over Lost Horizon for a night of networking, good food and great music.

INDIAN MAN
The Bristol based producer began his journey with his Punjabi Indian roots, which has since expanded to create a melting pot of melodic magic by merging the music of his childhood with the UK sounds of Dub, Garage and Jungle. Starting his career as a live touring musician for the past 10 years dabbling in everything from funk, jazz, and Bhangra, the Indian Man project was born three years ago out of a desire to merge his groundbreaking “East meets West” sound on dancefloors worldwide.
