Director, A Greener Festival (AGF) and Co-Founder of the annual Green Events and Innovations Conference (GEI)
| Session: Vision 2025 Climate Action Roundtables - 'No planet B' Waste & Communication, Studio 1, 14:00-15:30 | Teresa leads on training and research at A Greener Festival and developed the AGF online Assessor Training with partners Falmouth University. She also delivers inhouse workshops for events organisations on sustainable event management including the National Arenas Association (NAA) Royal Parks and Without Walls Arts Association. She is a consultant, author, speaker and researcher on sustainability and event management. Recent clients include, Greenpeace, RHS, and Great Run Company. Teresa had a successful academic career before moving back into industry and has undertaken many pieces of research into sustainability, live music and events. Author “Greening the Live Industry” chapter in Present and Future of Music Law (2021) Co- authored “A Case Study of the A Greener Festival Initiative” (2019). Researched and presented findings of Live Music Census of the City of Bristol, UK to the All -Party Parliamentary Committee for Music. UK Music (2016). She is Editor and contributor to the new Purple Guide for Event Organisers (2014). Teresa is in the final stages of a PhD in sustainability and event management focusing on pro environmental behaviour change.
