Greenbelt Festival

Greenbelt is a a festival of arts, faith and justice with a 45 consecutive-year track record. Inter-generational and multi-disciplinary, the festival moved away from Cheltenham Racecourse in 2014 to the beautiful parkland of Boughton House, near Kettering in Northamptonshire. It is now re-imagining itself in these stunning surroundings as a dynamic and participatory greenfield festival.

The festival’s roots are in the Christian tradition, but the space it creates each year is open to all – progressive, welcoming and inclusive. Greenbelt’s vision is one that sees an interplay between artistry, activism and spirituality. But both the bill and audience host those of all faiths and none. Culturally and politically engaged, Greenbelt celebrates the power and party that flow from acts of the imagination.
