Camden crawl festival officially goes into liquidation
The company behind Camden’s famous multi venue music festival, Camden Crawl, announced yesterday that they have gone into liquidation. The company, Crawl Promotions, had just celebrated its 19th anniversary, and this year’s event took place just over a week ago. Not only have many bands that played at the festival this year been left unpaid, but according to an official statement on the company’s website, many suppliers, staff and venues are also going to lose out.
An email from the event’s founder Lisa Paulon reads: “Pease be aware [that] unfortunately Crawl Promotions Limited T/A Camden Crawl is experiencing financial difficulty. It is with great regret that the Board has decided that there is no option but to place the Company into Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation.”
