Confirmed for the 1st and 2nd November 2016, the third edition of AIF’s flagship event Festival Congress returns to Cardiff.

The two-day conference, evening celebration and awards attracts over 400 delegates from across the festivals and events world each year.

The conference takes place at the Wales Millennium Centre (WMC), the party and awards takes place at The Depot, with street food and ‘Purple Rave’ tribute to Prince from Rob da Bank and Tayo 3000. Awards categories include ‘New Festival on the block’, ‘Mind blowing spectacle’, ‘Festival live act of the year’ and ‘Smart marketing’.

The theme of the event is ‘Day of the Dead’, with production and props from House of Bestival.

Tickets on-sale now from www.festivalcongress.com. £100 (+BF) for AIF members, £135 (+BF) for Friends of AIF and £185 (+BF) general sale exclusively through headline event sponsor The TicketSellers.

The Festival Congress is supported by the Major Events Unit of the Welsh Government. PlayPass will be the RFID partner and BIMM will again be the lead educational partner, delivering the satellite student sessions.
