Performance meets permaculture at this award-winning, family friendly festival where you can experience the counterculture – live. Four days of music, spoken word, debates, crafts, campaigns, skillshares, campfires and low impact living on a stunning woodland site just 18 miles from Bristol.
The latest incarnation in a long line of Green festivals… inspiring and authentic “like festivals used to be”.
The Green Gathering is 100% off-grid and solar-powered. It’s a festival beyond hedonism, where you can party then wake up the next morning and put the world to rights with your new friends from the night before. A genuine green ethos runs through everything, from the dozen different recycling categories to the top notch vegetarian food stalls, the on-site composting, Crock ‘n’ Rock crockery hire and the socially conscious message of headline acts.
The festival is commissioned by, and raises funds for, the Green Gathering Charity, which promotes education for sustainability via hands-on interactive learning and the arts.
